2. The platform
We operate an intermediation platform connecting industrial buyers with vetted suppliers of spare parts and machining services. We organise the network; unless expressly agreed in writing, manufacturing is performed by independent partners.
3. Accounts
Accounts are issued to companies, not individuals. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping credentials secure. Supplier accounts are activated only after verification of certifications and capabilities.
4. Requests and quotes
A request for quote is not an order. A quote is an offer by a supplier valid for the period stated. An order arises when a buyer accepts a quote through the platform.
5. Specifications and files
You warrant that you hold the rights necessary to submit any file or specification and that manufacturing the part does not infringe third-party rights. Files are shared only with the supplier handling the relevant job.
6. Commission
A platform commission is applied to awarded orders at the rate disclosed before award. Commercial terms between buyer and supplier are otherwise as stated in the accepted quote.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the commission received in respect of the order concerned.
8. Confidentiality
Each party shall keep confidential the technical and commercial information of the other disclosed through the platform, and use it only for the purpose of the relevant request, quote or order.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Indess is established. Questions may be addressed to contact@indess.com.
